The continuous improvement cycle is an ongoing process. Some of the key initiatives currently underway include:
- Focus on Student Engagement using Instructional Rounds model and ongoing professional development implemented as part of recent CUTA agreement.
- Curricular Committees in all subjects to continue deep alignment process of clearly identifying essential standards, implementing benchmark assessments, and incorporating strategies and use of materials to focus on those essential standards.
- Continued attention to "safety nets" for students, including EL programs and special needs services.
- Based on results from CUSD and Education Trust West Educational Opportunity Audit, create Blueprint for implementing actions that will better prepare all students for college and career options.
